Seth Downing, M.S.

Seth Downing is a 6th year doctoral candidate in psychology in the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology at the University of Florida. He is currently an Adult/Health intern at UCM. His clinical and research interests are centered on anxiety and obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, with a particular interest in the development of hoarding disorder and the impacts of hoarding on family members. Seth is currently completing rotations in the OCRD clinic with Dr. Greg Chasson and the PTSD clinic with Dr. Shona Vas. In the second half of the year, he plans on completing the substance use disorder rotation with Dr. Daniel Fridberg and continuing in Dr. Chasson’s OCRD clinic. While at UCM, Seth has been involved in a pilot study comparing medication and psychotherapy interventions for trichotillomania and conducting secondary analyses on the relationship between trauma and skin picking behaviors. In his spare time, Seth enjoys spending time with his wife and two-year-old son and exploring all that Chicago has to offer.
Sophia Weiner-Light, MS

Sophia W. Light is a 5th year doctoral candidate in clinical psychology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and a current Adult/Health Intern at UCM. Her research is focused broadly on healthy aging, brain health promotion, modifiable health behaviors, and health equity. Sophia is currently completing the Psychogastroenterology rotation under the supervision of Dr. Alyse Bedell and the Integrated Primary Care rotation under the supervision of Dr. Fabiana Araujo. In her free time, Sophia enjoys cooking, hiking, and playing tennis and pickleball.
Anya Savransky, M.A.
Adult Neuropsychology Intern

Anya Savransky is a 5th year doctoral candidate in Clinical Health Psychology at East Caronia University, with neuropsychology training focus. She is currently completing her internship at the University of Chicago Medicine, in the Adult Neuropsychology Track. Her research interests involve understanding the relationships between stress exposure, cognitive function, and modifiable health behaviors across diverse populations. Clinically, she is interested in assessing and diagnosing older adults for neurodegenerative disorders and working within interdisciplinary teams by providing pre-and-post surgical evaluations. Anya is currently completing rotations in the Adult Neuropsychology clinic and Memory Disorders clinic under the supervision of Dr. Maureen Lacy and Dr. Mary Lee. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants and spending time with family and friends!
Michelle Williams, M.S.
Michelle Williams is a fifth-year doctoral candidate in clinical psychology at Indiana University Indianapolis and a current Adult/Health intern at UCM. Her research focuses on the intersection of mental health conditions and cardiometabolic diseases, as well as the potential for digital health interventions to improve mental and physical health outcomes in marginalized groups. She is currently completing rotations in transplant, pain management, and health psychology under the supervision of Dr. Dan Fridberg and Dr. Nancy Beckman, and she is also collaborating on a research project with Dr. Jamie Griffith. In her free time, Michelle enjoys reading, salsa dancing, and recording music covers.
Tosin Adesogan, M.S.

Tosin Adesogan is a 6th year doctoral candidate in clinical psychology at the University of Georgia and is currently the Child and Pediatric Psychology Intern at UCM. Her research interests are broadly focused on understanding multisystemic risk and resilience factors and their impacts on the health and well-being of Black individuals and families. Tosin is currently completing the Pediatric Consultation/Liaison rotation under the supervision of Dr. Tina Drosos and the University of Chicago Stress, Trauma, and Resilience (U-STAR) rotation under the supervision of Dr. Sonya Dinizulu-Mathies. In her free time, Tosin enjoys reading and exploring new neighborhoods.
Abigail Farrell M.A.
Pediatric Neuropsychology Intern
Abigail (Abby) Farrell is a 5th year doctoral student at the University of Houston, with a major area of study in Clinical Neuropsychology. She is currently the Pediatric Neuropsychology intern at UCM. Her research and dissertation focus of the role of attentional and related cognitive processes in reading for students at risk for academic problems. Clinically, she is interested in neuropsychological evaluation of pediatric populations at the intersection of neurodevelopmental and medical conditions. Abby is currently completing rotations in the Pediatric Neuropsychology clinic and Early Childhood Assessment clinic under the supervision of Drs. Yangfeifei Gao and Mary Lee, and the Recovery & Empowerment After Community Trauma (REACT) clinic. Outside of work, she enjoys running, watching sports, and spending time with friends!
